March Discipline and Administrative Actions

MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho --
The following captures disciplinary and administrative actions across the 366th Fighter Wing for March 2016:
Article 15s:
-An airman first class wrongfully used marijuana. The member received an Article 15 and was punished with a reduction to airman basic, forfeiture of $783 pay per month for 2 months, and a reprimand. The member now faces discharge.
-An airman first class committed sexual contact on another airman without consent. The member received an Article 15 and was punished with a suspended reduction to the grade of airman, forfeiture of $90 pay per month for two months, and a reprimand.
Administrative Discharges:
- An airman first class was discharged for minor disciplinary infractions (treating an NCO with contempt, multiple instances of failing to obey an order, and failing to report for duty on time). The member received a general discharge characterization, resulting in loss of GI Bill benefits.
- A senior airman was discharged for minor disciplinary infractions (multiple instances of failing to perform duties and engaging in a verbal altercation). The member received a general discharge characterization, resulting in loss of GI Bill benefits.
- An airman was discharged for minor disciplinary infractions (multiple instances of failing to go to appointed places and being absent from duty as well as making false official statements). The member received a general discharge characterization, resulting in loss of GI Bill benefits.
Administrative Demotions:
- A staff sergeant was demoted to senior airman for DUI. Member was arrested off-base and charged with DUI after failing field sobriety tests and having a blood alcohol level of 0.184. The member lost on-base driving privileges for two years.
- A Senior Airman was demoted to Airman First Class for failure to maintain fitness standards.
- A Senior Airman was demoted to Airman First Class for failure to maintain fitness standards.
