Four Mountain Home senior master sergeants selected for promotion to chief

MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- Air Force officials announced that four members of the Gunfighter team were selected for promotion to chief master sergeant today.

Only one percent of the Air Force's enlisted members can be promoted to the rank of chief.

The Mountain Home AFB chief master sergeant selects are:

- Senior Master Sgt. Justin P. Gunther, 366th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron

- Senior Master Sgt. Wade N. Miller, 366th Component Maintenance Squadron

- Senior Master Sgt. John H. Smith, 366th Logistics Readiness Squadron

- Senior Master Sgt. Eric R. Watts, 366th Equipment Maintenance Squadron

Air Force officials selected 525 of 2,521 eligible senior master sergeants for promotion to chief master sergeant.
