October Discipline and Administrative Actions

MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- The following captures disciplinary and administrative actions across the 366th Fighter Wing for October 2015:

Administrative Discharges:

- After receiving an Article 15 for drug abuse (Ecstasy and a prescription drug without a valid prescription), an airman was discharged for drug abuse.  The member received a general discharge characterization, resulting in loss of G.I. Bill benefits.

Administrative Demotions:

- A senior airman was demoted to airman first class for failure to fulfill the responsibilities of an airman.  The airman was arrested for DUI after failing the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and having a blood alcohol content of 0.115 percent.  The member received a suspended conviction for DUI pending no other DUI-related offenses.  The member was sentenced to 90 days jail (85 days suspended as part of probation), $1,000 in fines, loss of driving privileges for six months and a one-year probation.  The member also lost on-base driving privileges for two years.
