MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- Are the fire doors in your facility going to protect you in the event of a fire? Do your part, by following these guidelines.

1. Don’t install attached hold open devices to prop fire doors open
2. Ensure the doors close and latch under its own power
3. When leaving your office/work center close the doors
4. When the fire alarm sounds, close doors as you exit
5. Fire doors only work when closed and latched
