MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, ID. --  Airman 1st Class Nicole Perez

Unit and occupation: Information management journeyman with the 389th Fighter Squadron 

Time in the service: Three years 

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: Two years, eight months 

Hometown: Abilene, Texas 

Hobbies: Salsa dancing, church activities, shopping, camping and spending time with my family and friends. 

Most memorable Air Force experience: "Graduating from basic military training, because my whole family was there to see me graduate. And I felt like I really accomplished something by joining the military." 

What service do you provide to Gunfighters? "The administrative support, computer assistance and information assurance security I provide the Thunderbolts is an important piece in accomplishing the bigger Gunfighter mission." 

Interesting fact: "Someday, I want to be a kindergarten teacher, and I would like to open my own daycare center." 

Why does Airman Perez deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Airman Perez consistently goes above and beyond what is expected of her as a client server administrator and the knowledge and skills she possesses supports every facet of the squadron's mission. Her role in the unit's information management is vital to the squadron's operation on a daily basis."
