390th Fighter Squadron names its annual winners

MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- The 390th Fighter Squadron here recently announced its top performers for 2006 as well as its outstanding Airmen for the last quarter of the year.

The squadron named Maj. Troy C. Henderson its top field grade officer of the year while Capt. George H. Downs earned the year's company grade officer title.

Meanwhile, Senior Master Sgt. Christopher M. Lemis was named the squadron's senior noncommissioned officer for 2006, Tech. Sgt. Jeremy L. Nowak claimed the NCO of the year honor and Senior Airman Joseph B. Price earned the squadron's top Airman title.

Other annual award winners were Maj. Thomas E. Dempsey, the 390th FS' best instructor pilot; Capt. Jon M. Snyder, top flight lead title; and Capt. Tyler J. Ellison, top wingman.

Squadron officials named the following individuals as its quarterly award winners for October to December 2006:
