  • Published
Senior leaders with the 366th Mission Support Group recently selected the following individual as one of its warriors of the week.

2nd Lt. John Paul Conner

Unit and occupation:
366th Mission Support Group executive officer

Time in the Air Force: Two years

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: Two years

Hometown: Purcellville, Va.

What service do you provide to Gunfighters? "I provide executive support to the mission support group commander, staff and seven subordinate squadrons."

Hobbies: "I am a die-hard fan of the Virginia Tech Hokies, but I also enjoy drag racing, traveling, concerts and hanging out with friends."

Most memorable Air Force moment: "Traveling to the Pentagon with 10 other Gunfighters to receive the Installation Excellence Award. It was the culmination of a nearly 10-month process that I was fortunate enough to work on from start to finish"

Interesting personal fact: "When I was 11, I won the first-ever legal drag race held in Washington D.C., in a junior dragster. I was even featured in a story on CNN for winning the race."

Why does 2nd Lt. John Paul Conner deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Paul is a superb Air Force ambassador. His organization and attention to detail are evident in the quality of all his work. He did a magnificent job in developing many of the time-sensitive and critical packages for the Commander in Chief's Installation Excellence Award, thereby setting the entire wing up for success. He has mastered the myriad of talks associated with running the front office of the mission support group. His positive attitude and dedication to the 366th MSG and 366th Fighter Wing make him a true warrior professional."
-- Col. Thomas Laffey, 366th Mission Support Group commander
