726th ACS warrior of the week

  • Published
Officials with the 726th Air Control Squadron recently named the following people as their warriors of the week.

Master Sgt. Thomas J. Keck

Unit and occupation: 726th Air Control Squadron, NCOIC, maintenance operations

Time in the Air Force: 19 years

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: Two years

Hometown: Great Falls, Mont.

Hobbies: Motorcycle riding and snowboarding

What service does Master Sgt. Thomas J. Keck provide to the Gunfighters? "My goal is to provide quality leadership regardless of the position the Air Force assigns me."

Most memorable Air Force moment? "The birth of my 19-month-old daughter, Emma. I pray that being a father makes me a better leader and vice versa."

Interesting personal fact: "Apparently, I have my own story time named 'Keck's Story Time.' According to the airmen, "You never know what you're going to get; could be 10 minutes, could be two hours!"

Why does Master Sgt. Keck deserve to be a warrior of the week? "As the NCOIC of the squadron's maintenance operations center, Sergeant Keck is HardRock's 'go-to' maintainer. He does a great job at everything he is assigned; anything he touches turns to gold. Furthermore, he is always there for the airmen, in and outside of his assigned work center. Without a doubt, Sergeant Keck is a consummate AF warrior...and his 'Story Time' is well worth hearing!"
