366th EMS names Warriors of the Week

Officials with the 366th Equipment Maintenance Squadron recently named the following people as their warriors of the week. 

Tech. Sgt. Jacob Huston

Unit and occupation: 366th Equipment Maintenance Squadron, assistant first sergeant

Time in the Air Force: Nine years

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: One year

Hometown: Woodland, Wash.

Hobbies: Spending time with my family and fishing

What service does Tech. Sgt. Huston provide to the Gunfighters? Sergeant Huston manages the unit fitness and family care programs in addition to many duties relating to the first sergeant position. His passion for mentoring and developing our Airmen is evidenced by his successes thus far as assistant first sergeant.

Most memorable Air Force moment? "Performing the honor guard funeral for retired Dallas Cowboys football coach Tom Landry is my most memorable moment. After the funeral we were invited to his house and got to meet some of the former Cowboys."

Interesting personal fact: "Most people can't believe that I have four children."

Why does Sergeant Huston deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Sergeant Huston was selected to manage the Cargo Deployment Function float yard during Sharpshooter 08-01. During phase I, he identified and helped correct more than 30 increments of cargo from across the wing that would have been frustrated if left untouched. This allowed cargo to be marshaled through the yard with minimal discrepancies and ensure equipment Joint Inspection times were met. He was praised by the installation deployment officer for doing an exceptional job."

Airman 1st Class Christopher Swindoll

Unit and occupation: 366th Equipment Maintenance Squadron, aerospace ground equipment apprentice

Time in the Air Force: One year and six months

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: 10 months

Hometown: Lubbock, Texas

Hobbies: Paintball, fishing, hunting and poker

What service does Airman 1st Class Swindoll provide to the Gunfighters? Provides aerospace ground equipment support to the 390th Aircraft Maintenance Unit

Most memorable Air Force moment? "Passing my Career Development Course test."

Interesting personal fact: "I was a ranch hand and a hunting guide before joining the Air Force."

Why does Airman Swindoll deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Since all his section's senior airmen and staff sergeants have been deployed, Airman Swindoll has been repeatedly assigned 5- and 7-level maintenance tasks and has completed them rapidly and accurately and has become pivotal to his work center's success."
