Officials with the 366th Communication Squadron recently named the following people as their Warriors of the Week.

Senior Airman Tyler M. Pestell

Unit and duty title: 366th CS airfield systems journeyman

Time in Air Force: Four years, eight months

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: Eight months

Hometown: Redding, Calif.

Hobbies: Computers, camping, fishing, skiing and mountain biking

What service does Airman Pestell provide to the Gunfighters? He ensures navigational aids, ground-to-air and air traffic control radio systems are operational to support the 366th Fighter Wing's flying mission.

Most memorable Air Force moment? "I had a chance to sky-dive while stationed at Keesler AFB, Miss., and I went bungee-jumping while I was stationed in Korea."

Interesting personal fact: "I can juggle four objects at once."

Why does Airman Pestell deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Airman Pestell is a highly professional and knowledgeable technician. He was a key player in the successful move from our old facility into the new facility, ensuring the opening of the facility went smoothly. He led four Airmen in moving more then 30 radio, phone and radar circuits, over the recent President's Day Weekend."

Base communications systems section chief

Airman 1st Class Adam Spencer

Unit and duty title: 366th CS unit deployment manager

Time in Air Force: Two years, nine months

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: Two years, four months

Hometown: Idaho Falls, Idaho

Hobbies: Outdoors activities such as fishing, hunting, hiking and fly-tying

What service does Airman Spencer provide to the Gunfighters? He is the assistant UDM for the 366th CS. His duties include ensuring the personal readiness folders are ready and taking Airmen through the personnel deployment function line during real world and exercise contingencies. He also works with base and major command level functional managers to keep the unit tasking codes up to date.

Most memorable Air Force moment. "I was in technical school at Keesler AFB, Miss., during Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The way Airmen put aside their differences and pulled together to help everyone in need was amazing. I had never been a part of such a huge team effort and I'm proud to say I was part of it."

Interesting personal fact: "I have been hit by a car three times and have never broken a bone."

Why does Airman Spencer deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Though he is a young Airman, he is taking on responsibilities normally assigned to a noncommissioned officer or even a senior noncommissioned officer. Airman Spencer handles all his tasking with great professionalism and pride. His number one priority is taking care of deploying Airmen, from the initial notification of deployment to the time they return. He is also in charge of many additional duties including overseeing government purchases, antiterrorism training and the 366th Security Forces Squadron augmentee program. Airman Spencer is a motivated, dedicated worker and is a prime example of what tomorrow's Air Force needs."
