Airmen center honors graduates

MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- The base's First Term Airmen Center recognized three of its students for outstanding achievement during a graduation ceremony May 9.

Airman 1st Class Derek Ivester, 366th Equipment Maintenance Squadron, received the school's "Sharp Troop" award as the class' top performer while Airman 1st Class Joshua J. Karrmann, 366th EMS, earned the "Razor Sharp" award for outstanding dress and appearance.

Airman 1st Class Kriston M. Brown, 726th Air Control Squadron, was awarded the school's "Gunfighter Pride" award for writing the best essay on what it means to be a first term Airman.

The First Term Airmen Center serves as the base's inprocessing center for all Airmen reporting for their first duty station following initial military training.
