366th EMS names its Warrior of the Week

MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho --  Officials with the 366th Equipment Maintenance Squadron recently named the following maintenance specialist as their Warrior of the Week.

Senior Airman Kevin Collins

Unit and duty title: 366th Equipment Maintenance Squadron metals technology technician

Time in Air Force: Four years in September

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: One year

Hometown: Waterbury, Vt.

Hobbies: "I like golfing, hunting, dirt bike riding, wake boarding and almost anything outdoors."

What service does Airman Collins provide to the Gunfighters? "I provide maintenance support and help repair the aircraft for the three aircraft maintenance units on base. I also complete welding repairs to the aircraft and support equipment as needed and fabricate new parts using our state-of-the-art computer numerically controlled machining equipment."

Interesting personal fact: "I received an incentive flight on a UH-60 helicopter while I was stationed at Spangdalhem Air Base, Germany."

Why does Airman Collins deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Airman Collins' can-do, positive attitude is an inspiration to everyone he meets. He tackles every task with enthusiasm, resulting in top-notch maintenance, which keeps the aircraft flying and support equipment running. Airman Collins is also our go-to Airman for briefing senior leadership at our immersions."
