Officials with the 366th Aeromedical Squadron recently named the following Airmen as their Warriors of the Week.

Capt. Brian Langford

Unit and duty title: 366th Aeromedical Squadron health promotions flight commander

Time in Air Force: Nine years

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: Two months

Hometown: I am a military brat, so I can't really claim one

Hobbies: I like hunting, fishing, snowboarding, camping and hiking.

What service do you provide to the Gunfighters? "As flight commander of the Health and Wellness Center and physical therapy flight, I provide rehabilitative services to injured Gunfighters, as well as individual fitness program consultation, nutrition advice, tobacco cessation and healthy living recommendations."

Most memorable Air Force moment. "My most memorable Air Force moment was my four-month deployment to Kuwait in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I was the sole physical therapist for 13,000 troops from three different countries and four U.S. service branches, and I had the opportunity to directly affect the fighting strength of coalition forces pushing toward Baghdad."

Interesting personal fact: "My father was career Air Force, and through the course of moving around the country, I have been through every type of natural disaster that can strike the continental United States (earthquake, volcanic eruption, hurricane and tornado just to name a few).

Why does Captain Langford deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Captain Langford has done an excellent job of taking over a dynamic and very diverse flight that offers a wide array of important services to keep our Gunfighters healthy, fit, and ready to fight."
