Officials with the 366th Civil Engineer Squadron recently named the following people as their Warriors of the Week.

Senior Airman Joshua Colwell

Unit and duty title: 366th CES pavements and equipment operator

Time in the Air Force: Two years and four months

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: One year and eight months

Hometown: Kamiah, Idaho

Hobbies: Kickboxing, hiking, hunting and fishing

What service does Airman Colwell provide to the Gunfighters? Airman Colwell performs sweeper operations that have a direct impact on the mission by conducting foreign object disposal on the airfields. He is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all asphalt and concrete on base and is a key member to base and airfield snow removal and serves as a section safety representative.

Interesting personal fact: "I just found out I'm going to be a father for the first time!"

Most memorable Air Force moment: "Performing snow removal during the 2007 and 2008 winter season. It was negative 20 degrees outside and the diesel fuel was freezing in the equipment. We worked non-stop 12 hour shifts on nights until the snow was cleaned up."

Why does Airman Colwell deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Airman Colwell deserves to be the warrior of the week because no matter what he is tasked with, I can always count on him to get it done without any delays. He always goes above and beyond in everything he does!"
- Staff Sgt. Shawn VanZandt, 366th CES NCOIC of pavements and equipment
