390th FS names its Warriors of the Week

MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- Senior leaders with the 390th Fighter Squadron recently selected the following individuals as their warriors of the week. The recognition program highlights members of the 366th Fighter Wing who make significant contributions to their unit and the base.

Capt. Edemumo Oboho

Unit and duty title: 390th Fighter Squadron assistant chief of scheduling

Time in the Air Force: Four years

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: Nine months

Hometown: Atlanta

Hobbies: Basketball, working out, reading and hanging out with friends

What service does Captain Oboho provide to the Gunfighters? Captain Oboho is a mission-ready F-15C Eagle pilot in Air Combat Command's top air-to-air fighter squadron.

Most memorable Air Force moment. "Assignment night when I unrolled the little piece of paper that said I had been selected to fly the F-15 Eagle!"

Interesting personal fact: Captain Oboho is the son of Nigerian immigrants who have made the U.S. their home.

Why does Captain Oboho deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Captain Oboho is the 390th's fire-and-forget weapon -- aim him at a problem, and he will solve it quickly and competently."

Senior Airman Chandra Bryant

Unit and duty title: 390th Fighter Squadron aviation resource manager

Time in the Air Force: Three years and four months

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: Three years and one month

Hometown: Los Angeles

Hobbies: Reading, listening to music, watching TV and writing

What service does Airman Bryant provide to the Gunfighters? Airman Bryant ensures the safe conduct of flight operations by checking and updating all pilot currencies and qualifications prior to issuing flight order for daily missions.

Most memorable Air Force moment. "My most memorable Air Force moment is being a member of the base honor guard because performing military funeral honors reminds me of why I came into the Air Force, which is not only for an education, but to serve my country as well."

Interesting personal fact: "I love shopping, especially for shoes."

Why does Airman Bryant deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Airman Bryant performed superbly during our recent Maple Flag deployment to Canada, ensuring that flight operations were conducted safely and in accordance with all relevant Air Force instructions."
