Effective 1 Oct. 2011, the TRICARE pharmacy benefit increased costs. The cost of using the mail order pharmacy will be:

Generic drug: 90 day supply: $ 0.00

Brand name drug : 90 day supply: $ 9.00

Non Formulary drug: 90 day supply: $ 25.00

The cost of filling prescriptions at civilian pharmacies will be:

Generic drug: 30 day supply: $ 5.00

Brand name drug: 30 day supply: $ 12.00

Non Formulary drug: 30 day supply: $ 25.00

There is still no cost for filling prescriptions at the local military treatment facility,
however, non-formulary requests cannot be filled.

Please contact your current pharmacy for additional information. Also, Walgreens will no longer be identified as a "NETWORK" pharmacy. If you're currently receiving your prescriptions from a Walgreens, you may want to contact them in regards to having your prescriptions changed to another pharmacy. This will prevent you from incurring additional costs by continuing to use Walgreens. For questions, please contact express scripts at 1-877-363-1303
