Senior leaders with the 391st Aircraft Maintenance Unit recently selected the following individual as their warrior of the week. The recognition program highlights members of the 366th Fighter Wing who make significant contributions to their unit and the base.

Tech. Sgt. Jason Miller

Duty title: 391 Aircraft Maintenance Unit / Assistant Section Chief

Time in Air Force: 15 years and six months

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: Two years and six months

Hometown: Inverness, Fla.

Hobbies: Any water sports and snowboarding

What service does Sergeant Miller provide to the Gunfighters? I streamline effective and efficient deployment assets and capabilities to war fighters. I also lead a 16-man team of deployment technicians to effectively forward deploy the 391st AMU into combat, and ensure maintainers have the best test and maintenance equipment to get the mission done. I coordinate logistic capabilities with a multiple of organizations around the wing to ensure the Bold Tigers can hit the ground running and sustain operations.

Most memorable Air Force moment: The day I first became someone's supervisor, because I realized I had a chance to help my subordinate to excel and become something better.

Interesting personal fact:  I started scuba diving at 14 years old.

Why does deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Sergeant Miller is a fantastic, hard working supervisor who cares tremendously about his people. He is a very determined technician who doesn't stop until the work is done. Sergeant Miller has continually provided top notch coordination and equipment for deployments and has a superb record of turning around equipment that needs repair from back shop agencies. His critical equipment tracking account has been recently lauded as a benchmark program by our command supervision and will be implemented in other AMU's." -- MSgt Eugene Paciotti, 391st Aircraft Maintenance Unit
