Food Recall: Oscar Mayer Cooked Ham Published Sept. 15, 2016 By Staff Reports 366th Aerospace Medicine Squadron Public Health Flight MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- The Kraft Heinz Company is withdrawing approximately 206,000 cases of Oscar Mayer vacuum-packaged, re-sealable plastic bags of cooked ham, honey ham and smoked ham due to the possibility that some may spoil before the “best when used by” date. The Mountain Home AFB Public Health office is working with base establishments and has confirmed that our installation's commissary carries Oscar Mayer Cooked Ham. All affected items have been removed from the shelves. No other base establishment sold these products. The unit UPC codes and “best when used by dates” on the affected packages are as follows: 16-oz. vacuum-packed packages containing Oscar Mayer Cooked Ham bearing the UPC#447000705900 with best when used by dates of: 09/07/2016 to 12/06/2016. Products purchased at the Commissary can be returned for a full refund. For products purchased elsewhere, contact the location of purchase.
