Customers who purchased these products should not consume them. While most strains of E. coli are harmless, others can cause diarrhea, dehydration and other illnesses. The Mountain Home AFB Public Health office confirmed that the installation's Commissary carries General Mills Gold Medal Flour. All affected items have been removed from the shelves. No other base establishments sold these products. The “BETTER IF USED BY” code dates and UPC codes labeled on the packages included in this recall are General Mills Gold Medal Flour with a unit UPC# 16000-10610 and with “best by” dates of: 25 May 2017 27 May 2017 thru 31 May 2017 1 June 2017 3 June 2017 thru 5 June 2017 11 June 2017 thru 14 June 2017 Products purchased at the Commissary can be returned for a full refund.
