February Discipline and Administrative Actions Published March 3, 2016 By Staff Reports 366th Fighter Wing Public Affairs MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- The following captures disciplinary and administrative actions across the 366th Fighter Wing for February 2016: Administrative Discharges: - A senior airman was discharged for drug abuse (wrongful use of marijuana) and erroneous enlistment. The member received a general discharge characterization, resulting in loss of GI Bill benefits. - An airman first class was discharged for minor disciplinary infractions (wrongfully using activity council funds, being disrespectful to a SNCO, failing to perform duties and failing to report for duty on time). The member received a general discharge characterization, resulting in loss of GI Bill benefits. Administrative Demotions: - A senior airman was demoted to airman first-class for driving under the influence (DUI). Member was arrested off-base and charged with DUI (excessive) after failing Field Sobriety Tests (FSTs) and having a blood alcohol level of 0.249. The member pled guilty to DUI and received a withheld judgment (similar to suspended conviction). Member was sentenced to one-year probation, five days jail, $952.50 in fines and fees, and loss of off-base driving privileges for 180 days. The member also lost on-base driving privileges for two years. - An airman first class was demoted to airman for driving under the influence (DUI). Member was arrested off-base and charged with DUI (excessive) after failing Field Sobriety Tests (FSTs) and having a blood alcohol level of 0.211. The member pled guilty to DUI (excessive), and received a withheld judgment (similar to suspended conviction). Member was sentenced to one-year probation, 90 days jail (75 days suspended), and $1,114.50 fines/fees. The member also lost on-base driving privileges for two years.
