The base education center hosted an open house today in order to inform Airmen of the educational assistance available to them.
Representatives from multiple agencies including Boise State, Embry Riddle Aeronautical, Park, and Webster Universities were on-hand to discuss ways in which they can assist Airmen with their training and educational goals.

"We want to ensure Airmen know they can complete their education here at Mountain Home Air Force Base starting from an associate degree all the way to a graduate degree," said Gary Sarazin, 366th Force Support Squadron education center director. "Our goal is the open house leads to an increased utilization of our facilities and the benefits offered by the Air Force and the Veterans Administration."

All active-duty Air Force Airmen, federal civilian employees, retirees, reservists, and family members are able to utilize the base education center's services.
"We are here for all Gunfighters, but we provide specific support to long-range Air Force goals by assisting with the Weighted Airmen Promotion System testing," said Sherri Babcock, a representative from Webster University. "This helps enhance professional and personal development, recruitment, retention, and readiness.

The open house is another way personnel from the 366th FSS help take care of Gunfighters. "Airmen can receive effective educational opportunities starting with basic skills through graduate level degrees here," said Babcock. "We also offer Air Force tuition assistance, academic and vocational testing services and counseling for those interested."
