W-2s are out for military members and their families and the Mountain Home AFB Tax Center is open, offering free tax filing for military members, dependents, retirees and civilian workers, both government service and non-appropriated funds employees.

The Tax Center is prepared to serve individuals who have basic federal and state income tax returns. Those with modest investment income or who own only one rental property will be served. Those who have extensive investments, more than one rental property, or other complex tax issues must call to inquire about their eligibility.

Walk-in hours will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Mondays and Fridays, and appointments can be scheduled 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday. Call 828-4997 or email gunfightertaxcenter@gmail.com to book your appointment.

The Tax Center is located upstairs in building 512, the Wing Headquarters Building. Just make a slight right at the top of the central stairwell or a sharp left out of the elevator, and you can't miss it.

We'll see you there!
