MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho --  Have you ever arrived at the 366th Medical Group to realize they were closed?  Frustrated about taking time off work to pick up a prescription and the hospital was closed? Well, the 366th Medical Group created a new system to help prevent this and alert you of future hospital closures.

Gunfighters are encouraged to sign up for 366th Medical Group announcements by subscribing to 366MDGmedalert, a 'Twitter'-based alert system managed by the 366th Medical Group.  The alerts are sent directly to your phone via text message.


Follow these instructions to sign up:

1.) Text:  "Follow @366MDGmedalert"  to 40404 (be sure to include a space between follow and the @ sign)

2.) Wait for a confirmation text.

3.) Text:  "set discovery off" to 40404 to avoid unwanted texts and spam messages.
