June Discipline and Administrative Discharge Actions Published June 26, 2015 By Staff Reports 366th Fighter Wing Public Affairs MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- The following captures disciplinary and administrative actions across the 366 FW for June 2015: Article 15s: - A Staff Sergeant submitted false information to another organization about his past disciplinary issues. The member received an Article 15 and was punished with a reduction to Senior Airman, suspended forfeiture of $1,225 pay per month for 2 months, and a reprimand. - An Airman First Class fell asleep while on post as a sentinel. The member received an Article 15 and was punished with a suspended reduction to Airman, forfeiture of $867 pay per month for 2 months, and a reprimand. Administrative Discharges: - An Airman First Class was discharged based on drug abuse (wrongful use and possession of marijuana). The member received a General Discharge characterization, resulting in loss of GI bill benefits. - An Airman was discharged based on drug abuse (wrongful use of marijuana). The member received a General Discharge characterization, resulting in loss of GI bill benefits. - An Airman First Class was discharged based on minor disciplinary infractions (safety and technical data violations, failure to report for duty on time and damage of government property). The member received an Honorable Discharge characterization. - An Airman First Class was discharged based on minor disciplinary infractions (numerous occasions of failing to report for duty on time, sleeping on duty, absenting himself from his place of duty, and making a false official statement). The member received a General Discharge characterization, resulting in loss of GI bill benefits. Demotions: - A Technical Sergeant was found passed out in a personally owned vehicle after driving it while under the influence of alcohol. Member's blood alcohol content was later measured in a hospital to be .303, exceeding the legal limit of .08. Local police were not involved and evidence was lacking for court action. The member was administratively demoted to SSgt for failure to fulfill NCO responsibilities.
