The ceremony recognized outstanding members of the Gunfighter community and their accomplishments throughout 2015. With 16 categories and approximately five nominees for each, the following were named the best of the best: Airman of the Year: Senior Airman Taylor Clay, 366th Operations Group NCO of the Year: Staff Sgt. Peter Berger, 366th Mission Support Group Senior NCO of the Year: Master Sgt. Martin Castillo, 366th Medical Group First Sergeant of the Year: Master Sgt. Kathleen May, 366th Operations Group Company Grade Officer of the Year: Capt. Venita Ramirez, 366th Medical Group Field Grade Officer of the Year: Maj. Christopher Sharp, 366th Operations Group Flight Commander of the Year: Maj. Meghan Vanderheiden, 366th Medical Group Civilian of the Year, Category I: Robin Frank, 366th Medical Group Civilian of the Year, Category II: Julia Robinson, 366th Maintenance Group Civilian of the Year, Category III: Samuel Shearman III, 366th Mission Support Group Honor Guard Airman of the Year: Airman 1st Class Jesse Bridge, 366th Mission Support Group Volunteer of the Year, Active Duty: Airman 1st Class Jessica Kraus, 366th Mission Support Volunteer of the Year, Retired: William Mullen, 366th Mission Support Group Volunteer of the Year, Junior: Destiny Campbell Volunteer of the Year, Spouse: Stephanie Hudson. Also, two Gunfighter airmen were awarded 552nd Air Control Wing annual awards. Field Grade Officer of the Year: Maj. Rene Prieto, 726th Air Control Squadron Senior NCO of the Year: Master Sgt.
