Officials with the 366th Maintenance Group here recently nominated the following individual as one of its warriors of the week.

Staff Sgt. Josh Smith

Unit and occupation: Quality assurance inspector with the 366th Maintenance Group

Time in service: 6 1/2 years

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: Nearly three years

Hometown: Minneapolis

What service do you provide to Gunfighters? "I provide quality verification inspections on three different types of aircraft, weapons systems, support equipment and vehicles. My job helps provide a safer environment for maintenance group personnel."

Hobbies: "I enjoy the outdoors, soccer, skiing, anything involving guns and working on automobiles."

Most memorable Air Force moment: The sergeant's temporary duty assignment to South Africa to be part of the first time U.S. forces flew with the South African air force.

What is an interesting fact about yourself? The sergeant is a father of twins and an excellent skier.
