Senior leaders with the 366th Operations Support Squadron here recently selected the following individual as one of its warriors of the week.

Tobin Anderson

Unit and occupation: 366th Operations Support Squadron wing scheduling superintendent

Time in the civil service: 16 months, following 23 years of active duty service

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: Nine years

Hometown: North Saint Paul, Minn.

What service do you provide Gunfighters? Mr. Anderson's duties include providing oversight, office continuity and technical guidance and expertise; interpreting instructions, directives and operating procedures; and generating revisions for all governing directives with respect to wing scheduling. He also distributes local bombing range and airspace schedules for units using the base's range complex, including the wing's flying squadrons, other Air Force and foreign military units and the Idaho National Guard, while ensuring these schedules are accurate and deconflicted.

Hobbies: Hunting, fishing, hiking and all-terrain vehicle riding

Most memorable Air Force moment: The time he deployed to Liberia in support of Operation Assured Response with the 21st Special Operation Squadron and 352nd Special Operations Group. "It was awesome to be part of a real world mission to evacuate the U.S. embassy due to hostile activities in Liberia," he said. "It was awesome to be part of Special Operations team on a real-world mission."

Interesting personal fact: "I'm not as old as I look."

Why does Tobin Anderson deserve to be selected as a warrior of the week? "Mr. Tobin Anderson is an outstanding member of my shop. He continually strives to improve upon any project he undertakes. I count on him on a daily basis to keep the airspace open and out jets flying."
