Senior officials with the 366th Security Forces Squadron selected the following individual as one of its warriors of the week:

2nd Lt. Daniel Minnocci

Unit and occupation: 366th Security Forces Squadron logistics flight commander

Time in Air Force: 13 months

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: More than one year

Hometown: Indialantic, Fla.

Hobbies: Playing paintball, playing various sports, working out, target shooting and enjoying the outdoors

What service do you provide to the Gunfighters? "As the security forces logistics flight commander, I'm responsible for ensuring defenders on station are provided with the equipment necessary to provide all law enforcement and security response services to the Gunfighter community. I'm also responsible for the management and coordination of security forces mobility to ensure our defenders meet the high operations tempo in support of the Global War on Terror."

Most memorable Air Force moment: The time the lieutenant was coined by the noncommissioned officer in charge of opposition forces at Camp Bullis, Texas. The lieutenant earned the coin for eliminating an Air Force-trained counter-sniper while attending counter-sniper team training. "I was afforded the unique opportunity to operate in a tactical capacity not typically filled by officers; it was an invaluable experience," the lieutenant said.

Interesting personal fact: "Before entering the Air Force, I worked in civilian law enforcement and fire rescue in Florida."

Why does 2nd Lt. Daniel Minnocci deserve to be a warrior of the week?
"Lieutenant Minnocci has consistently been tasked with duties above those commensurate to his rank. He has continually excelled at each task and found innovative ways to streamline numerous processes. Lieutenant Minnocci has been an example for his flight to follow and epitomizes all that a security forces lieutenant should be."
