MOUNTAIN HOME ARI BASE, Idaho --  In an announcement Nov. 11, the Air Force selected 21 Gunfighters for promotion to major.

Teodoro Apalisok -- 366th Component Maintenance Squadron

Andrew Wistrcill -- 366th Fighter Wing

Shirley Belloni and Tonya Pressley -- 366th Medical Operations Squadron

Thomas Gustin, Joshua Platt and Jeri Torrero -- 366th Operations Support Squadron

Eric Arnold, Tomas Jaime and Martin Rann -- 388th Electronic Combat Squadron

Wayne King and Anson Stephens -- 389th Fighter Squadron

Joel Neeb and Andrew Pence -- 390th FS

Clint Gharis, Hans Lienke, Mark Pauly, Joseph Ryther and Mark Schmidt -- 391 FS

Craig Towell and Kenneth Voight Jr. -- 726th Air Control Squadron

With a selection rate of 80.78 percent, the board considered 3,138 captains for promotion and selected 2,535.
