Gunfighter selected for colonel Published Feb. 1, 2008 366th Fighter Wing Public Affairs Office MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- Lt. Col. Richard Coe, 389th Fighter Squadron commander, was recently selected for promotion to the rank of colonel. Colonel Coe was also selected by the Colonel and Colonel-Select Senior Developmental Education designation board to attend the National War College in Washington D.C. The NWC's mission is to prepare future leaders of the Armed Forces, State Department, and other civilian agencies for high-level policy, command, and staff responsibilities. "I'm honored to be selected to colonel and I look forward to attending this school," said Colonel Coe.
