Airmen center honors graduates Published July 16, 2008 MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- The base's First Term Airmen Center recognized three of its students for outstanding achievement during a graduation ceremony July 3. Airman John Barrett, 726th Air Control Squadron, received the school's "Sharp Troop" award as the class' top performer while Airman Michael Burkett, 366th Logistics Readiness Squadron, earned the "Razor Sharp" award for outstanding dress and appearance. Airman 1st Class Edward Venegas, 389th Aircraft Maintenance Unit, was awarded the school's "Gunfighter Pride" award for writing the best essay on what it means to be a first term Airman in today's Air Force. Other graduates from the school included the following Airmen: 389th AMU -- Airman 1st Class Justin Searcy 390th AMU -- Airman 1st Class Tiffany Bennett 391st AMU -- Airman 1st Class Christopher Pratt 366th Operations Support Squadron -- Airman 1st Class Tina Hess 366th Equipment Maintenance Squadron -- Airman 1st Class Nicholas Hull and Airman Jason Edwards 366th Civil Engineer Squadron -- Airmen Justin Johnson and Stuart Kadlec 366th Communication Squadron -- Airman Jai Jackson 366th Medical Support Squadron -- Airman 1st Class Justin Proche 726th ACS -- Airmen 1st Class Robert Funfstuck II, Quinterro Richard, George-Luis Weiss and Airmen Erik Eitrem and Gabriel Labrie FTAC serves as the base's inprocessing center for all Airmen reporting here as part of their first duty station following initial military training.
