A.C.E. counsel elects new officers Published Aug. 12, 2008 MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- On July 29, the Airmen Committed to Excellence council elected the next set of officers to take the lead. Senior Airman Kendra McKinney, 366th Fighter Wing Legal Office, is the president; Airman 1st Class Brendon McLeroy, 366th Logistics Support Squadron, is the vice president; Airman 1st Class Samantha Crane, 366th FW Public Affairs Office, is the secretary; and Airman 1st Class Christine Rodriguez, 366th Dental Squadron, is the treasurer. The primary purpose of A.C.E. is to promote and improve professional development, morale, espirit de corps, and unity amongst the Airmen at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. "A.C.E. has a lot to offer Airman," Airman McKinney said. "We have opportunities to reach out to other Airman for support. A.C.E. is also a great way to chip in to the community and on base." The program also gives Airman a chance to network with their peers across the base. "It's important for people to join A.C.E. to gain friends in different areas of expertise," said Airman McKinney. "Networking is important because if someone needs help, they will have a contact or someone they can turn to." Meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month at the Underground inside the Community Center at noon. "I hope that we can get more new faces in our meetings and at some events," said Airman McKinney. "I want to get groups of people together for more events and volunteering is always fun when you have people there to hang out with."
