Comptroller Assisted Self Help, or CASH, Forms Lite is a newly developed Web site created to assist customers with filling out a number of financial forms, streamlining the process of updating an Airmen's pay accounts and filing manual travel vouchers.

This tool utilizes a "Turbo Tax" like wizard to walk Gunfighters through the form-filing process from their desktop. CASH Forms Lite helps produce a properly completed, standardized and legible document ready to be signed and submitted to supervisors and approving officials or directly to the finance office.

"CASH Forms Lite contains 19 of the most commonly used forms and 10 of the finance systems to access those forms," said 2nd Lt. Michelle Kolcun, 366th Comptroller Squadron financial services flight commander. "The customer can print their form and then will have detailed instructions of what to do next depending on the transaction - whether to submit it to their supervisor, an approving official or to take it directly to finance."

Effective immediately, the finance office will accept financial forms printed from CASH Forms Lite. This new initiative will posture Gunfighters for the switch to the new Air Force Financial Services Center.

"Eventually we will move from CASH Forms Lite to e-Finance, the latter will be totally paperless, with digital signatures and electronic routing through approving officials to the Air Force Financial Services Center, or in some cases, straight to the military pay system," said Lieutenant Kolcun. "CASH Forms Lite is an interim product to e-Finance."

Information on CASH Forms Lite can be found on the Air Force Portal under the "Life & Career" tab and then the "Money-Finance Central" link. The use of this tool is now available.
