It's CFC Bowl-a-thon time

MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- The Combined Federal Campaign committee is hosting a CFC Bowl-a-thon from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 20 at Keglers Korner on base to raise money for the CFC campaign.

Rental shoes will be free of charge to all needing them and the cost of bowling will be $3.00 for three games. Bowlers must be in civilian clothes and bowlers may participate as individuals or on teams and their pin count will be totaled for three game sets. Sponsors may contribute based on total pin count or give a predetermined amount. Charity buckets will also be available to those wishing to donate at the bowl-a-thon who didn't sponsor a bowler.

"We are looking forward to making this bowl-a-thon a yearly event; we're expecting it to be a great success" said Airman 1st Class Jonathan Guzman, a member of the bowl-a-thon committee.

Sign up to bowl, sponsor a bowler or come out and cheer someone on. The deadline to sign up is Nov. 14. When signing up, specify the organization you want the proceeds from your bowling to contribute toward. To sign up, contact your squadron CFC representative.
