"March 20, 2003. I was in Cyprus and all the KC-135s were lined up to take off and they told us when the first one takes off, that is when the war in Iraq starts. The president came on the television and right before his speech was over the first jet started taxing to the runway. You could just feel the excitement in the room. I had never felt that much pride in my life." Interesting personal fact: "I sang the National Anthem at an Idaho Stampede game in front of a national audience on ESPN." Why does Sergeant Brown deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Sergeant Brown is an outstanding Airman. As the squadron safety noncommissioned officer, she has made sure the 366th EMS is in compliance with the latest AFOSH standards. As an Airman, she epitomizes 'service before self' and has been the rallying point behind numerous squadron activities to include the most recent Halloween Haunted House on base. She is a role model for all to emulate." - Maj. Donald A. Supon Jr., 366th EMS commander
