The 2008 Combined Federal Campaign ended Dec. 5 with more than $117,000 raised for CFC and Operation Warm Heart.

More than 20 percent of the wing contributed after 100 percent contact was made.

"This year's CFC was especially significant because our goal was different than previous years," said Capt. Wanda Stauffer, 2008 CFC representative. "Emphasis for the 2008 CFC campaign was on face-to-face education and information to every person within the wing. We met our goal of 100 percent contact and 64 percent of the pledge forms were returned. Generosity and caring runs deep in the Air Force community and even with the ailing economy this year, the members of Mountain Home AFB pledged over $116,500 for CFC."

The CFC bowl-a-thon also raised $834 for Operation Warm Heart and other designated charities raising the combined total to $117,300.

"Thank you to everyone at Mountain Home AFB for making this a successful campaign and a special thank you to everyone who was able to make a monetary donation this year," said Captain Stauffer.
