366th CS names its warrior of the week Published March 9, 2009 MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- Officials with the 366th Communication Squadron recently named the following person as their Warrior of the Week. Senior Airman Adam Spencer Unit and duty title: 366th Communication Squadron project manager Time in Air Force: Three years and eight months Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: Three years and four months Hometown : Idaho Falls, Idaho Hobbies: "My favorite hobby is fishing - anywhere and anytime. Friends and family also keep me busy." What service does Airman Spencer provide to the Gunfighters? "I provide Gunfighters with communications and information systems planning. My job is to take an idea for a project and turn it into a reality for our Gunfighters. I'm tasked to ensure that a communications project is implemented to its fullest potential and that it adheres to our highest Air Force standards." Most memorable Air Force moment. "My most memorable Air Force moment happened at Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., in August of 2005. I watched in awe as Hurricane Katrina steamed toward us. I was truly amazed at the camaraderie and teamwork I came to see and be a part of in the aftermath." Interesting personal fact: "I have been hit by a car three times in my life and have never broke a bone." Why does Airman Spencer deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Airman Spencer has been an invaluable member to the 366th Communication Squadron and entire Gunfighter Team. As a planner, he's played a major role in the installation of communications for the new main gate and temporary lodging facility. As a unit deployment manager, he prepared Gunfighter communicators for their deployment during the last rotation. - Maj. Timothy R. Ryan, 366th CS commander
