366th SVS names its warriors of the week Published March 25, 2009 366th Fighter Wing Public Affairs Office MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- Senior leaders with the 366th Services Squadron here recently selected the following individuals as their warriors of the week. The recognition program highlights members of the 366th Fighter Wing who make significant contributions to their units and the base. Lisa Auger Unit and occupation: 366th Services Squadron marketing director Time in civil service: One year Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: One year and three months Hometown: Yorktown, N.Y. Hobbies: "I enjoy reading, mountain biking, traveling and spending time with friends and family." What service does Mrs. Auger provide to the Gunfighters? "As the marketing director, I assist with First-Term Airmen Center, Right Start, Heart Link and Customer Service briefings. I work with my marketing staff to provide our Gunfighters with information about what there is to do on base. I also go out into the community to garner commercial sponsorship to help enhance different base events. Through our website and base-wide e-mails, we provide food, fun and fitness to our Gunfighters." Most memorable Air Force moment. "One of my most memorable Air Force experiences occurred during the 2008 Air Show at Mountain Home AFB. As the national anthem played, jets soared over the crowd, immediately bringing tears to my eyes. My husband was deployed, and that moment made me so proud of him and all the men and women defending our great nation." Interesting personal fact: "I speak both French and Italian." Why does Mrs. Auger deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Mrs. Auger epitomizes what every leader looks for in today's employee. She completely understands the importance of her role in the 366th FW mission and is completely dedicated to exceeding any expectations put on her. Sergeant Hann is an alternate mortuary affairs representative, a unit deployment manager, a unit scheduler and a unit security manager. Most memorable Air Force moment. "My most memorable Air Force Moment was when I was deployed to Afghanistan for six months in support of a Joint Expeditionary Tasking. During this time my contributions to the mission were recognized by the Army by awarding me with the title, "Soldier of the Quarter," and I was presented the Joint Commendation Medal. The whole experience just validated my reason for joining the United States Air Force and serving my country in a joint environment." Interesting personal fact: "I can speak three languages -- English, Spanish and Hangungmal -- and I have an extra vertebra in my spine." Why does Sergeant Hann deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Sergeant Hann continuously displays dedication to the mission, attention to detail and a compassionate attitude toward the Gunfighters. He goes the extra mile in caring for our military family members during the loss of their loved ones; and as a UDM, he sets the example and exhibits the Air Force's warrior ethos.
