MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho - Members of the 366th Civil Engineer Squadron fire prevention flight performs an aircrew extraction during the phase II Operational Readiness Exercise April 6. The exercise simulates Gunfighters are deployed to “Base X” for 30 days with hostilities for three days. The wing uses OREs to gauge its ability to meet war time taskings at a deployed location. The evaluation includes initial response, readiness, combat operations, ability to survive and operate, self aid and buddy care and mission support.
