The recognition program highlights members of the 366th Fighter Wing who make significant contributions to their unit and the base. Capt. Jason Constantine Unit and duty title: Administratively assigned to the 388th Electronic Combat Squadron; operationally assigned to Electronic Attack Squadron 133, or VAQ-133, currently serving as the assistant operations officer. Time in Air Force: Five years Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: Twenty-one months assigned to the Gunfighters, serving at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Wash. Hometown: Colorado Springs, Colo. Hobbies: "I enjoy skiing" What service does Captain Constantine provide to the Gunfighters? "I am one of four U.S. Air Force electronic warfare officers flying with VAQ-133 in the Joint EA-6B Expeditionary Prowler mission at NAS Whidbey Island. I engage enemies with non-kinetic electronic 'fires.' I also just returned from a six month deployment to Operation Enduring Freedom where I helped save ground forces lives by using an airborne electronic attack." Most memorable Air Force moment. "Returning home from my first deployment is probably my most memorable Air Force moment. Being deployed makes you realize how much we take for granted in the U.S. on a daily basis." Interesting personal fact: "I ate a 76-ounce steak in one sitting (no, it was not free)." Why does Captain Constantine deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Captain Constantine epitomizes the true warrior spirit of the Gunfighters ... Ride hard, shoot straight and always speak the truth. He is easily one of my top CGOs and one of the most talented EWOs I have had the pleasure of working with in my 20 year career." - Lt. Col. Steve Lloyd, 388th ECS director of operations
