Senior leaders with the 366th Maintenance Operations Squadron recently selected the following individuals as their warriors of the week. The recognition program highlights members of the 366th Fighter Wing who make significant contributions to their unit and the base.

Staff Sgt. Jason Harrell

Unit and duty title: 366th MOS maintenance operations center senior weapons system controller

Time in Air Force: 10 years

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: Three and a half years

Hometown: Pensacola, Fla.

Hobbies: Automotive work, motorcycle riding and community involvement

What service does Sergeant Harrell provide to the Gunfighters? Sergeant Harrell compiles aircraft data for daily Status of Resources and Training System reports used by Headquarters of the Air Force, Air Combat Command and Joint Chiefs of Staff to assess military readiness response capabilities by identifying and correcting shortfalls. He also assists the NCOIC in directing communications and operations of section personnel to track scheduled maintenance execution for the wings 72 assigned F-15C/E aircraft and associated equipment and resources with an estimated value exceeding $6.2 billion.

Most memorable Air Force moment. "I was reenlisted in Balad Air Base, Iraq, by Gen. John P. Jumper. It's memorable for the single reason of being coined by a four-star general and it was his last reenlistment ceremony before he retired. I also enjoyed the speech he gave on never falling back on what you believe in and going all the way no matter if the outcome is in your favor or not."

Interesting personal fact: "I am a four year member of the Mountain Home Ancient Free and Accepted Masons which has gotten me involved in the community in and around Mountain Home and Boise."

Why does Sergeant Harrell deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Sergeant Harrell, being one of the most experienced and capable senior controllers in the maintenance operations center, is the one I go to for all the answers. I can always trust his judgment and expertise to ensure the mission is accomplished in the timeliest manner, even under the most stressful situations. Without his unparalleled understanding of personnel and mission requirements, we would not be able to provide real time maintenance snapshots to wing leadership for operational decisions."
- Master Sgt. Scott LaBuda, 366th MOS/MOC noncommissioned officer in charge

Senior Airman Nathan Donaldson

Unit and duty title: 366th Maintenance Operations Squadron maintenance scheduler

Time in Air Force: Two years, five months

Most memorable Air Force moment. "My most memorable Air Force moment would have to be graduating from basic military training."

Interesting personal fact: "I met my wife in 2005 online 1,200 miles apart and ended up getting married to her in June of 2007, we ended up being unexpected soul mates and have never been happier."

Why does Airman Donaldson deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Airman Donaldson leads by example by constantly displaying our Air Force values. This Airman will do the right thing even when no one is looking and that speaks volumes of his character. His positive attitude, willingness to help others and his enthusiasm for learning sets him above his peers. If we had to deploy today, he is one I would want on my team."
