Senior leaders with the 366th Medical Group recently selected the following individuals as their warriors of the week. The recognition program highlights members of the 366th Fighter Wing who make significant contributions to their unit and the base.

Jody M. Juliana

Unit and duty title: 366th Medical Group personnel security manager

Time in the civil service: Eight months

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: One year

Hometown: Vancouver, British Columbia

Hobbies: Playing in and on the water and spending time with family and friends

What service does Ms. Juliana provide to the Gunfighters? Ms. Juliana processes all security clearances and MILPDS actions. She currently assists with the customer service area of the orderly room.

Most memorable Air Force moment. "Watching and understanding my husband's reenlistment as well as planning a squadron welcome home barbecue for more than 130 members and, of course, awaiting his return from a long deployment."

Interesting personal fact: "I was married Aug. 16, 2003, in Calgary, Alberta. Shortly thereafter, I left and started my new life as an Air Force wife and proudly became a U.S. citizen in September of 2005 in Hawaii."

Why does Ms. Juliana deserve to be a warrior of the week? "After going through a number of changes within the commander support staff office, Jody has continued to assist all those who have asked, and done so in a hurry. If she didn't know the answer, she would find it. Jody's customer service and willingness to go above and beyond has been infectious to those she serves."

What service does Airman Scales provide to the Gunfighters? Airman Scales is the first person people see as they come into the commanders support staff. She provides great customer service to all members in the Medical Group as well as endless tasks she is asked to do on a day-to-day basis. Airman Scales manages the group operating instructions, runs newcomers orientation and in- and out-processes new members. She is the Defense Travel Administrator for the group as well as the Drug Demand Program trusted agent. Airman Scales has numerous tasks she performs each day, but she always makes sure no job goes undone.

Most memorable Air Force moment. "Every moment in the Air Force has been quite memorable so far, from graduating basic training to receiving my first award and, now, in less than one month, putting on senior airman. One of the most memorable moments was when I got my orders in technical school and found out I was returning back to Idaho where I already spent 19 years of my life, but I'm not complaining because I am very happy here."

Interesting personal fact: "I am a very determined and motivated person. I hate leaving things unfinished, and I think that the best feeling as well as the best revenge in the world is success!"

Why does Airman Scales deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Airman Scales is always happy to serve, whether it is a simple answer to a question or running an errand. Airman Scales -- soon to be Senior Airman Scales -- spends many, many hours assisting customers with all of their needs and smiles along the way. Her professionalism and dedication are her strongest traits."
