Nurse advice line available to Gunfighters Published June 9, 2009 366th Medical Group MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- Your baby is crying and her nose is stuffy. Your son just told you he hurt his ankle at the playground and is limping. You woke up this morning feeling sick to your stomach. Sometimes it's difficult to know what to do when you or a family member is feeling sick or is hurt. Now you have help, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, just by picking-up the phone. The 366th Medical Group is offering a new nurse advice service for all enrolled beneficiaries. By calling 1-866-204-4523, you can speak with a registered nurse who will provide education and expert advice to help you manage your health care concerns. The nurse follows strict protocols to ensure the highest standard of care. Your primary care manager receives a copy of the call, including the instructions given to you by the nurse. The nurse advice line can't refill or renew medication, give you test results or take messages for your PCM. Please continue to call 828-7900 for these needs. If you have questions or concerns about the nurse advice line service, call Lt. Col. Judy Stoltmann, 366th Medical Operations Squadron commander, at 828-7630. As always, the Urgent Care Center is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for acute illnesses or injuries.
