366th EMS names its Warrior of the Week

Senior leaders with the 366th Equipment Maintenance Squadron recently selected the following individual as their warrior of the week. The recognition program highlights members of the 366th Fighter Wing who make significant contributions to their unit and the base.

Airman 1st Class Samuel Navarro

Unit and duty title: 366th Equipment Maintenance Squadron knowledge operations journeyman

Time in the Air Force: One year and nine months

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: One year and five months

Hometown: Mineral Springs, Ark.

Hobbies: Playing basketball and hanging out with friends.

What service does Airman Navarro provide to the Gunfighters? "I support 630 personnel in the 366th EMS. I'm responsible for the squadron's sponsor, urinalysis, Weighted Airmen Promotion System and feedback programs. I also assist the maintenance group client support administrators."

Most memorable Air Force moment. "My most memorable moment would have to be the day I graduated basic training. I felt like for the first time in my life I really accomplished something important."

Interesting personal fact: "I am the first person in my family to join the military."

Why does Airman Navarro deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Airman Navarro is the go-to Airman in the commander support staff. He is the first to volunteer for the toughest jobs always producing great results. His knowledge of both information management and client support administrator duties make him a vital asset to the entire squadron."
