Mountain Home military member injured in vehicle accident

MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- Capt. Mark Zampogna from the 366th Operations Support Squadron was severely injured in a vehicle accident July 6 near McCall, Idaho.

The military member was life flighted to St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise.

The military member is currently being held in the intensive care unit and is in critical condition.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
