Base vehicle involved in rollover on I-84

A van from the Mountain Home Air Force Base youth center carrying four children and two caregivers rolled over at approximately 1 p.m. today on I-84 while heading to Glenns Ferry, Idaho, to attend the Elmore County Fair.

All passengers were wearing seatbelts and some suffered minor injuries. Two children and adults were transported to the Elmore Medical Center, in Mountain Home, and released. Two other children were taken to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. The injuries are not life threatening.

Parents of all children involved in the accident have been notified. The caregivers were not related to any of the children involved in the accident

The incident is currently under investigation.
