Senior leaders with the 366th Communications Squadron recently selected the following individual as their warrior of the week. The recognition program highlights members of the 366th Fighter Wing who make significant contributions to their unit and the base.

Airman 1st Class Izell Johnson

Unit and duty title: 366th Communications Squadron alternate base records manager

Time in the Air Force: One year and 10 months

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: One and a half years

Hometown: Los Angeles

Hobbies: "I love to play 80s metal on the guitar. Some of the bands are: Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Metallica, Judas Priest, Testament, Exodus and so on. I also like drawing and reading."

What service does Airman Johnson provide to the Gunfighters? Airman Johnson provides records management support, guidance and direction to functional area records managers, chiefs of office of record, and record custodians assigned to Mountain Home AFB and to tenant units as directed by specific agreements.

Most memorable Air Force moment: "My most memorable Air Force moment is when I graduated from basic military training. The reason behind this is because everyone back home didn't believe I could make it through and I proved them wrong."

Interesting personal fact: "I am musically inclined and not a lot of people know this, but I use to be in chorus in high school, so I sing when no one is listening."

Why does Airman Johnson deserve to be a warrior of the week? "When Airman Johnson is assigned a task, I know the job will get done, and that it will be done correctly. She is a hard worker with a 'can do' attitude. She is always a professional and a definite asset to any organization."
