Air Force Ball details set Published Aug. 25, 2009 MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- On Sept. 19, Gunfighters and local community members will come together to celebrate the Air Force's 62nd Anniversary during the Air Force Ball with a theme of "Celebrating Gunfighters." The night begins at 6 p.m. at the Gunfighter's Club and will feature heavy hors d'oeuvres with a "Taste of the World" theme. Prices for senior airmen and below are $18 for club members and $20 for nonmembers. For all other ranks, club members pay $26 while nonmembers pay $28. Military members must be in mess dress or semiformal while the dress code for civilians is formal or black tie. Airmen Against Drunk Driving will provide rides to homes on base, in Mountain Home or in Boise, Idaho. A list of approved child care providers offering services on base will be released closer to the event date.
