Airmen center honors graduates

The base's First Term Airmen Center recognized three of its students for outstanding achievement during a graduation ceremony Sept. 2.

Airman Junior Martinez, 366th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, received the school's "Sharp Airman" award for outstanding professionalism and uniform standards on a daily basis while Airman Kandice Whitt, 726th Air Control Squadron, earned the "Razor Sharp Airman" award as the class' top performer.

Meanwhile, Airman 1st Class James Root, 366th Component Maintenance Squadron, claimed the school's "Gunfighter Pride" award for writing the best essay on what it means to be a first-term Airman in today's Air Force.
