Five Gunfighters selected for chief master sergeant

Air Force officials have announced that five senior master sergeants from Mountain Home Air Force Base were selected for promotion to chief master sergeant.

The five Gunfighters selected for promotion were Senior Master Sgts. Dean Abbott, 366th Logistics Readiness Squadron; Todd Connolly, 366th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron,;Terrell Holmon, 366th Equipment Maintenance Squadron; Juliette Jennings, 366th Maintenance Operations Squadron; and Kevin Lord, 366th Maintenance Group.

Air Force-wide there were 475 of 2,276 eligible senior master sergeants selected for promotion to chief master sergeant for a selection rate of 20.87 percent.

The average score for those selected was 662.78, with an average time in grade of 3.40 and time in service of 23.23 years, respectively, and 24.49 for decorations. The average score was based on the following point averages: 135.00 for enlisted performance reports, 63.57 for the Air Force supervisory exam and 388.58 board score.

Those selected for chief master sergeant will be promoted according to their promotion sequence number beginning January 2010. As a reminder, selections are tentative until the data verification process is complete, which is no later than 10 days after the promotion release date. AFPC officials will notify Airmen, via military personnel sections, if their selection is in question.
